Children's workshop course

The (visual) art of storytelling

Think and imagine your own world

We humans have been telling stories for as long as we have walked this globe.

Stories can be told in many different ways. You can write them down or incorporate them into a song, but you can also imagine them.

In this course you will become acquainted with various visual techniques and materials by listening to and telling stories.

Think, for example, of making flip books and stop motions, but also stamping techniques, illustrations and paintings.

We will also discuss inventing characters, worlds and narrative styles.

Making your own booklet (bookbinding) will also be a challenging assignment.

We work in a group, but with a lot of attention for individual input.
