Description of the course

The drawing/painting courses are open to both beginners and advanced students under the motto that everyone can learn from each other, in addition to the teacher.
You can work with various materials such as acrylic paint, oil paint, watercolor paint and drawing materials. The press in the workspace makes it possible to experiment with printing techniques.
Through assignments from the teacher, interspersed with the investigation of own ideas, the various visual elements such as shape, composition and color are discussed.
We are inspired by what can be seen in the art world and learn to look better ourselves.

Students describe me as a skilled and enthusiastic teacher.
“Eva always sees something positive in your work!”

On the website www.schildervreugd.nl you will find a rich collection of work by the creative
students during the painting lessons and painting trips.

In this course Eva Lensink, in collaboration with Martine Hesselink, is going to teach how to make prints in a creative way with printing ink on paper.

We make monoprints, which means that every print made has a unique character.

We experiment with printing techniques such as relief printing and intaglio printing. We are inspired by printing and techniques from the art world. On the basis of assignments and explanations everyone works on developing their own style. We work with, among other things, textured paper and natural materials.

Printing can be done by hand, but there is also an etching press in the room that can be used.

This course is suitable for both beginners and advanced students.
