Digital Post-Processing for Photography
Take your photography to the next level!
Put the finishing touches on your photography! Curious about techniques that go hand-in-hand during photography with techniques in post-processing? Digital photography does not stop at saving to the SD card, after all, so much more is possible. In this course you will learn how a digital photo can be further molded into a result that is truly finished!
Based on several photographic genres, we will also apply various techniques live during the lessons. You will learn how to open up new possibilities during photography in post-processing and finalizing the final image. You will learn the difference between preparing a photo for online use and hanging it on the wall, but also how we can better organize our photos. Quality photography is more than just taking a good photo, but also managing to translate the vision into a finished image…

This course consists of 8 lessons of 2.5 hours each and is given on Wednesday evenings.
Participation in the course costs €275 (incl. VAT, excl. materials)
To participate, payment must be completed in advance. There is room for a maximum of 8 students.
Necessary materials
• Own laptop.
• Own login details for the Adobe Creative Cloud Photography membership
(Adobe Photoshop 2023 and Lightroom Classic).
• External SSD drive with USB 3.2 connection to standard USB.
• Photo camera with RAW photo recording option, tripod.
Class dates
The 8 lessons are given on Wednesday evenings from 7:30 PM to 10:00 PM at the Vrije Academie.
Location: Herbenusstraat 89, local “vergaderen@kumulus”.
Club Photoshop
The next level!
This class is for experienced users of Photoshop and/or Lightroom.
Students who have successfully completed “Post-Production for Photography” can progress to this class.
In Club Photoshop we meet 11 times a year to jointly edit photos, discuss an assignment and exchange feedback. You work on your own photography and I am present to guide you in the process and answer questions. The structure of this course is much freer than a conventional course. You and your classmates decide together which topics will be explained in class!
Do you encounter problems in photo editing? Do you need help finding the right finish for your photography? Or do you just enjoy working with like-minded people? Then register and reach the next level!
