What will you learn?
You will learn the basic techniques of pottery:
– Process from clay to pot
– Knowledge of various types of clay
– Basic technique of turning
– Kneading
– Centering (of about half a kilogram of clay)
– Opening
– Pulling up
– Shaping
– Turning down
– Glazing the pot

What to make
– Cups and mugs without ears
– Bowls, tea lights or tapas dishes
– The work pieces will be glazed together in the last lesson of the course

– Maximum of 10 students

Who do you learn from?
Vera is an enthusiastic and patient turner who enjoys using humor to pass on to you her skill, knowledge and passion for clay.

What should you bring?
– 2 old towels
– Dishcloth
– Old clothes, overalls or apron (stains are washable)
– Lots of sociability, humor, fun (and a little patience)
– Tip: short nails (preferably no rings and bracelets)
– Bottle of drink

– Clay and bisquit firing costs included
– Glaze and glaze firing costs €10 per kilo of workpiece
