Ceramic hand molding and pot turning
Instructor Natascha Rieter teaches several courses on ceramic molding.
We will work with hand molding and with turning objects on a potter’s wheel. In hand molding, she will teach you construction techniques, modeling, hollowing out, enlarging a small made design and working in relief. With both techniques, you will be explained surface work, decoration techniques with engobe and glazes. Her diverse range of courses makes it possible to choose from almost all ceramic techniques.
Natascha Rieter has a great deal of knowledge in the field of ceramic shaping.
She conveys this to beginning students in predetermined lessons. Of course, there is plenty of room for your own input and personal development. With advanced students there is even more attention to professionalizing the student’s own choices.
Advanced courses require prior knowledge of the firing process and the technical skills required for this.
Course prices do not include clay and firing/glazing costs.
