The first technique is learning to turn on the potter’s wheel. The hardest part is centering the clay, that is, trying to get the clay in the center of the wheel.
Turning clay is a type of clay without chamotte. Then the thickness of the bottom is made, after this the width and then the wall thickness, growing the pot. Almost all forms start with a cylinder. Which is then created in a convex or other shape.
The following week the bottom must be turned off, this is done with a mirette. And after 2 weeks of drying the object may then be put into the first firing.
Clay, firing costs and glaze are not included in the price.
