About this course

Painting with oil paint is a very old and versatile technique. You can use it to paint very refined in multiple layers, but also directly and expressively. In the course you will receive an explanation about the different types of oil paint, brushes and surfaces (such as painting on linen or panel).
We start with painting using the refined oil painting technique and end with the expressive technique. We work based on still lifes, landscape and portrait. You can also paint according to your own themes and subjects. During the lessons, various artists from history who painted with oil paint are discussed. The course is suitable for beginners or experienced painters who want to brush up on their technique.Practical: All materials are present during the first lesson. A simple purchase can then be made. It’s possible to pay in installments.
